A country ranking, not a follower ranking
Visibility online is usually measured through individual accounts. Sivis moves it up to the country level: the World Arena compares the total torches collected by messages posted from each country.
It does not show which country has the most users, but which country's words find a response.
How it is calculated
The ranking is the sum of torches received by Sivs from each country, updated hourly.
Country information comes from the user's profile and is optional. On anonymous posts the country is not shown on the card.
Why small countries can lead
Total torches are not proportional to population. A small but active community can pass a far more populous country. That makes the ranking different from, and more interesting than, a population table.
The same logic applies to language: Sivis works in 21 languages, and a sentence does not have to be written in a widely spoken one to find a response.
What visibility measures
A torch is not approval; it is a way of saying "let this stay a little longer". The arena therefore measures the will to sustain, not popularity.
A country's place in the arena is a simple indicator of how much the voices from there resonate with others.
