1. Information We Collect

Sivis collects a limited amount of data in order to provide the service and maintain platform safety:

• Account details: your name, email address and profile picture when you sign in with Google.
• Profile details: optional fields you fill in, such as nickname, country, date of birth and gender.
• Content: the Sivs you post, the comments you write, the torches you light and the messages you save.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, used for security, abuse review and spam prevention.

2. Google AdSense and Advertising Cookies

We use Google AdSense advertising services. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com/).

3. EEA / UK / Switzerland Consent Management (CMP)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland, a consent mechanism complying with Google CMP and IAB TCF v2.2 standards is applied. Personalized advertising cookies are not placed without prior consent.

4. Anonymous Posts

When you post a Siv anonymously, your name, country and other profile details are hidden on the message card and the message is not listed on your public profile.

The message does, however, remain linked to your account internally for safety, copyright and abuse review. Anonymity is towards other users, not towards platform administration.

5. Third Party Services

Sivis uses Google Firebase for authentication, real-time database and hosting, and Google AdSense for advertising.
