Content and Moderation Rules
This English text is a translation provided for convenience. Where the Turkish version differs, the Turkish version prevails for users in Türkiye.
1. Content that is not allowed
- content that is criminal or promotes violence, hatred or discrimination;
- content that discloses other people's personal data (ID numbers, addresses, phone numbers, health data, etc.) without permission;
- insults, harassment, threats or invasion of privacy;
- sexually explicit content or child abuse material (reported to authorities immediately);
- advertising for illegal betting, gambling, contraband or other illegal activity;
- copyright or trademark infringement, spam or malicious links.
2. How moderation works
Posts are automatically checked before publication (with a language model on Cloudflare Workers AI) for illegal content, hate speech, harassment, personal data and illegal advertising (betting etc.). Promoting your own site or business is allowed. User reports are reviewed by administrators.
3. Removal requests and appeals
If you believe content infringes your rights, write to hasan@pingel.dev with the content's address, what the infringement is and your contact details. Requests under Article 9 of Turkish Law No. 5651 are assessed within 24 hours. If your content was removed you may appeal at hasan@pingel.dev; the appeal is reviewed afresh. Orders from courts and competent authorities are applied separately. Users in the EU may also use the out-of-court dispute settlement bodies provided under the Digital Services Act.
4. Enforcement
Breaches may lead to content removal, reduced visibility, or temporary or permanent account restrictions. Where possible we tell you the decision and the reason.
